Site posture
The project is sited on roughly 500 acres of marginal agricultural land in Weld County, with single-axis tracker solar on the majority of the parcel and a container-scale 4-hour BESS at the point of interconnection. Parcel topology allows for continued grazing co-use on perimeter margins, which has been factored into the lease structure.
Interconnection
The project holds a position in the relevant transmission-cluster study. Capacity is sized so the interconnection is defensible even under the downside studies, we’d rather build a project that connects than market one that doesn’t.
Offtake
PPA negotiation is in process with a load-serving entity under the current capacity need. Offtaker name will be disclosed publicly once the deal executes.
Status
Permitting milestones outstanding include the CPCN filing window and a final land-use approval from the county. Project status updates flow into this page as each milestone clears.
