Saga Energy

Leadership

The four people behind Saga.

Saga is a founder-led company. When you engage with us, you're talking to one of the four of us, not a pass-through. Between us, gigawatts built, grids delivered to, and the kind of decade-plus experience that's hard to shortcut.

Walker Willis

Walker Willis

Co-Founder & CEO

10+ yrs renewable energy industry

Walker is Saga's chief executive. He is an electrical engineer by training (B.S.) and has spent his career on the delivery side of large utility-scale clean-energy assets, most notably the 864 MW Edwards-Sanborn Solar + Storage facility, where his engineering decisions shaped what was then the largest solar-plus-storage project in the country. At Saga he sets the company's technical posture and runs day-to-day operations.

Marcus Lively

Marcus Lively

Co-Founder & CDO

10+ yrs of community and utility-scale solar

Marcus runs development at Saga. He has spent a decade in the solar industry, with a particular depth in community solar and the landowner-and-subscriber relationships that community programs depend on. He has stood up community-solar projects in state programs across the country and knows, intimately, how to make the subscriber economics actually pencil after escalation, a discipline that separates real community solar from marketing copy.

David Nocella

David Nocella

Co-Founder & CFO

10+ yrs renewable energy industry

David is Saga's chief financial officer. Over the past ten-plus years in renewable energy he has managed more than 6 GW of utility-scale wind projects across the US, site origination through PPA execution. At Saga he leads capital strategy, offtake structuring, and the financial posture of every project we develop.

Logan Bell

Logan Bell

Co-Founder & COO

10+ yrs wind industry

Logan runs construction and operations at Saga. With a decade of utility-scale wind construction experience, he has personally contributed more than 1 GW of generation to the US grid through contract negotiation, risk management, and schedule discipline. If a Saga project is under construction, Logan is the one who has read the contract clauses twice.

Prior-life work

Gigawatts of clean energy have been deployed by our team, at prior companies, over the past decade. Our previous companies include Clearway Energy Group, Terra-Gen, Scout Clean Energy, Pivot Energy, and Mortenson Construction. Those projects laid the foundation for everything we do at Saga, and the experience is real. But they don't count as Saga pipeline. For current Saga-attributable projects, see /projects.
